To me, a loader on an 8n in 2007 is a bad idea because it destroys this tractor's near perfect weight distribution, and kills it's advantages of compact size and light weight. I still use my 8n on a 2-row corn planter and in my opinion there is not a modern tractor that is better at this task. Changing the belt was not all that much trouble. Disconnect pump from mount and take the shaft coupler apart. Not that much trouble, no need to remove any hydraulic hoses. I just used some bailing wire to hold the pump out of my way. It also has a Maximum drawbar of 23.16hp on 2nd gear, 3.75 inches stroke, constant mesh transmission, etc. The tractor has 92 ft-lbs of torque that causes a rotation of 1,500 rpm.
